Can't get eggs at 0.00% from shops anymore

Did something change a few days ago?

Usually, when I buy an egg in one of the shops, I can click "Yes" and go directly, before its page comes up, back to the shop or to my keep, and the egg will be in my Main at 0.00%.

Since a few days, even if I'm fast enough so the egg doesn't show its page, it has its base click in place already.
It's become impossible to get an egg at 0.00%!

What happened, and what can I do, or can it be changed back?

hey yeah that's weird... i just tried it on two vetus eggs, clicked yes then the magistream banner... that used to work before. now it doesn't seem to. wonder why that is?

im sure this will frustrate people who collect everything and want 0% shop eggs as new critters are in them...

Still works for me. I don't click and then quickly click somewhere else - I'll try to explain, but I'm sorry if it comes across as incoherent rambling.

When you go to buy an egg, open the confirmation page in a new tab.



Then click 'Yes', but don't release the mouse button. Instead (while still holding it down) move it off of the 'Yes' button to somewhere else on the page. It will be highlighted (and selected). The difference is hard to see in the screenshots, but it's there.



Best move the mouse over the link to your keep or the tab so you can close it quickly. Hit 'Enter' on your keyboard, then click immediately afterwards. When you check your Keep now, the egg should be there.

What I did was TAB until the Yes was highlighted (blue rim around it), move my mouse over the banner, then hit Enter and click. Always worked for me in the past, doesn't work now.

I just hit the backspace button right away, takes me back a page before it can load.
Ofc I've found this only works on Firefox, the backspace to go back back a page function doesn't seem to work on Chrome (and it's a Chrome issue not an MS one).

I used to immediately hit the back button on my mouse after clicking "Yes" to prevent that initial click, but that's no longer working for me no matter how quick I am, on both Chrome and Firefox.

It also works if you click yes and immediately close the tab with ctrl+w

I've tried all methods by now, highlighting and enter-click worked once for me on FF, as did click-backspace on FF.
Nothing worked on Chrome. Bummer, as I normally use Chrome to play.

So, getting 0.00% eggs from new shop releases is going to be expensive from now on, I'm afraid. Not happy with that.

I also experienced difficulty in getting 0.00% eggs from the shop the other day. I dunno what changed, but it is making it much more difficult to get these eggs for collectors now.
