Egg

You see a pure white egg with a faint glow. However once you bring it out into sunlight the egg glows so bright, you almost can't look at it.


Hatchling

A small white baby bird, it emits a multi colored glow, like light through a prism. As the little hatchling ages, it's wings and tail feathers start to gain color. Though the hatchling’s multi colored glow is turning white. Almost like the flight feathers and tail feathers are absorbing the color.


Adult

This magnificent bird glows brighter than the sun, you can't even look at it without specialized sunglasses. The flight feathers and tail feathers are bold against the birds white body. They emit a multi colored glow, like light broken by a prism. Legend has it, sundogs are fallen feathers of this bird. And rainbows are it's tail. An old civilization that worshiped this creature tell stories of how stars are phoenixes of light flying far, far away. And the sun is a large phoenix crossing the sky.

Notes

The idea behind this bird is that it's made up of almost pure light. And it can behave similarly to light. Where the tail feathers and flight feathers attach to this bird act as prisms. This gives the feathers their color. The special sunglasses you need are not necessarily something you need to quest to find. They are regular sunglasses that have an enhancement spell to block out more light. Similar to the sunglasses one would use to see an eclipse, just more easily obtained via magic. The idea of breeding an ice pheonix and puvia to create such a creature comes from how blue flames burn hottest. The magical ability to have a cold, blue flame is somewhat passed onto the offspring. Not the chilling cold, but the large amount of magic. Flames being a source of light and color being a product of light are the main 2 characteristics from the parents in this creature. However this bird has no flames, only a product of flames, light.
