Paerd

Egg: This egg seems to be covered in strange spots. It also has a strange texture, feeling almost furry.

Hatchling: The creature that emerged from the spotted egg looks a bit like a leopard. However, it is very dark, and its sports are nearly invisible against its near-black fur. It also has a bit of raised fur on its shoulders. It has little white fangs, and likes bothering your other creatures, especially the Chimeras and Manticores. Paerd hatchlings are known for being very curious about their surroundings, and they tend to get into trouble. It seems to like the night, and sleeps during the day.

Adult: Your playful Paerd hatchling has matured into a beautiful adult. The raised patch on its back has become almost a mane, its fangs are long and sharp, and its spots are not easily visible, with their midnight coloring. Paerds are excellent predators, able to disappear into the night without any trouble. However, with proper care, they also make excellent companions for Magi. Paerd are loyal, but often disappear for nights at a time. If a Paerd is not taken care of, they tend to distance themselves from their masters.

General: Paerds are sometimes known as "Spirits of the Night". They are renowned for their strength and agility, as well as their hunting skills. Sometimes Paerds like to bring back eggs to their masters, to please them. Other times, Paerds will take their masters with them on night explorations, hunting for eggs that not even Remmy can find.
