The Mountain Cats- A Different Kind of Warriors Story

Prologue

Bright eyes pierced the night like blades. A tom's blue-eyed glare was so fierce it looked as if he was attempting to attack the strange cats with his eyes. "Who are these fools?" he hissed. "They are obviously not from these parts. They look extremely soft. There is no way they could survive on this turf; their fur is not nearly long enough to keep in their body heat. Besides; even of they are warriors, they have been living the good life compared to out here. We should kill them now."

"Relax, Coldfoot." A much calmer voice emergred with the she-cat out of the brush. Her blue-green gaze was calm and her silver-blue coat shone in the moonlight. She appeared to be extremely wise. "If they are so soft, they won't live for long. We will let them die. If not, we can handle it. Now come; back to camp to address the matter."

Coldfoot sighed. "I suppose so..." He began. When he turned his head, he saw that the she-cat had already disappeared into the dark forest hugging the mountains. "HEY! Don't leave me here alone with the softies!" He yelled in a fit. He too disappeared into the dark forest; the laughter of the she-cat echoing throughout it.

Snowclan

Leader:
Snowstar- Very calm, wise she-cat. Her navy-blue fur is extremely long and soft to the touch. Like all the rest of the members of Snowclan, she is a snow leopard. Her spots are a gorgeous silver, and her eyes are blue-green.

Deputy:
Coldfoot- Rather stubborn tom. His fur is a faded gray that fades further into off-white on his underbelly. His spots are a dark, almost-black gray, and his eyes are a bright sky blue.

Medicine Cat:
Snowfrost- Gorgeous silver she-cat with a snowy-white underbelly. Her spots are a light, faded gray, and her eyes are a faint blue. Not a scratch or scar has ever been seen on her body.
