It's not. the 80% thread was difficult to moderate, because if a player posted less than 80% creatures, they'd be a totally different percentage by the time the mods got to it. So, it's just another click thread now.
And kind of redundant, really, if one thinks about it.
Egg Hatcher 2000 = Click My Eggs
Lots of people have said that.
I always thought it would be nice if one of the threads said, as a rule, that you could only post once per page. Most people are nice about that and only do so anyway, but it would be nice if it was an official rule for just one thread.

Do you want to go through every page of that click thread and check for duplicates? Remember, we are talking a few hundred pages per day here.

Perhaps not so much as a written rule, but perhaps, somehow, as a physical restriction, as through coding (provided that such a thing could even be done in phpBB)?
Just a thought, as I am not a coder myself... people tend not to read/follow rules sometimes, but with an actual physical restriction limiting to but one post per page... hm.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I doubt such a thing could be applied to just 3 threads alone though. It'd screw up auctions (couldn't bump more than once a page, so the auction would fall if no one bids) and.. same with MD threads and shops.
To do that, there would most likely have to be a forum specifically for the click threads. Unless you want every thread in Reindeer games restricted to one post by each person per page. Which I have a feeling would not please some people in there...
That's the way it would have to be coded to have that kind of restriction on the several forums I have been admin on anyway. To restrict thread posting you can't just restrict the thread, it has to be a rule for that entire forum or subforum.
Even if it were possible to restrict it to just those three threads, those threads are replaced everytime they are over capacity or whatever you want to call the 10,000 post limit at which point mods lock the old and create a new.

Slowly working on finishing my creature collection, and adding to breeding pairs for all the creatures I have missed over time...
I suppose the threads do differ to some people. I guess the reason why I wondered why "Click the eggs of the person above you" moved faster than the other two threads is because I didn't really realize that the different threads meant different things to some people. To me, they're all the same; I use snaplinks so I get just about every creature on the page, no matter which thread it is. I've become so used to it that I guess I just automatically assumed that the threads were the same for everyone else too, especially since the threads don't really have any real "guidelines", e.g. "Please click the eggs of the person above you" or "Please click everyone on the page" (excluding the obvious title of one of the threads, which, like I said before, didn't mean much to me).
That is another reason why I didn't really notice many differences... since they're all just like, you know, "No offside adoptables" and have the same general basic guidelines.
