The Pygmy Phoenix are permanent hatchlings, so I'd say they make sense on why they can't breed.

The sylphs do have lore in their creature descriptions as to why they can't breed. :orly:
Other than that, maybe the incapability to breed keeps demand up?

Anyone else not able to get the new eggs? I keep trying to turn in my Stream turkey hatchlings, and I get the quest completed text, but my hatchlings are still in my lair and I have no new eggs.

Was wondering the same thing...the page saying I got them comes up but it won't take them...thought maybe it was because 2 of the hatchies was from previous years? O.o
