Did I miss a step somewhere? I'm at Fire in the Hall, with it asking for a phoenix egg... but it refuses to take my ice phoenix. I just bred it, it's unnamed, unfrozen, unlineaged, etc.

I got to part II on Theia, then the quest vanished and there's no quests at the Ashen Temple for me

it has to be a normal (fire) phoenix for the first part (i had that problem too)

Bah, I wondered if it was that. Guess I need to find me a fire phoenix egg.

I can send you some if you give them back after the quest (I'm really attached to my burning birds). I have like 450 ready to go, so just say the word.

I feel like such a bum for being able to only contribute one phoenix egg so far, but I only have one adult pair of Phoenixes and I'm not about to grow my hatchling pair just to get another egg to turn in. Guess it's waiting until they can breed again to try once more for another egg. I still wish Phoenixes would drop a little more frequently in the stream as I haven't seen any at all. That, or maybe someone needs to poke Master Belmos and have him sell some Phoenixes.

When you return to the round chamber, a dark-haired boy, Adwin, is sitting on a folding stool in front of the tunnel entrance, squinting at a sheet of notebook paper in the dim light. A pile of phoenix eggs to his right and a smaller pile to his left of ice phoenix eggs provides extra illumination. When he notices you, he looks up. "Oh, hello. Professor Tyris put me in charge of counting up the eggs. You have a new one to drop off? Excellent! That brings out total to _ phoenix eggs and _ ice phoenix eggs."

We're at 22% with 479 phoenix eggs and 315 ice phoenix eggs.

Your not a bum, I imagine there are a lot of people who don't even have a pair of phoenixes and are really struggling with this quest. I think it would be good to have more phoenix eggs in the stream for such people. I was lucky enough to have a couple of pairs of ice phoenixes and two pairs of normal phoenixes because of my shop and what people seem to like me to stock, otherwise I'd probably be stuck at the temple part still.
