Mouse facing certain doom
It scurries in the evening gloom
in the shadows lies a coil
muscles tighten, its blood broils
the mice upon the wooden tile
up and scurries its final mile
Fur upon the tile it flashes
The python in the wood she snatches
and seeks the snuggled quarters
until the end of life.

A bird, perched on a solitary branch
in the autumn dawn,
listening to music that no one else can hear,
through the equipment long ago
settled onto its head.

Music spreads through its veins,
and its feathers come alive
with the colors of electricity.

Not a mark or blemish that hides

Not a circle
Yet not fully oval

Drifting through a haze
Passing through each phase

In the depths of a gentle hue
A color rich and soft of blue
