Love kills

Love is a crime,
All the time.

People think they find their missing links,
But that's only what most of them think.
It's only an illusion,
A blatant intrusion.

Love is always fake,
Love is an illusion people make.
Love is a pain,
Without any gain.
Love is terrible,
Only for the gullible.

I would rather get pecked by a dove,
Than fall in love.
I'd rather get hit by an ocean,
Than feel any emotion.
I'd rather get chewed by a pug,
Than give a hug.
I'd rather get hit by a car,
Than marrying off afar.

Love is a crime,
All the time.

This was a rather funny poem to read. I don't know if it's meant to make someone smile but I think the way you rhymed in it is what made me smile because it was so well rhymed with things like 'chewed by a pug' and the like. Great job! X3
