The Rampart Golem is a gargoyle-like creature that makes it's dens in unused arrow holes and storage rooms in castle towers. When startled, the creature flaps its wings to stir up dust and make an escape. Despite their fierce appearance, they only eat dead leaves. Because of this, they spend most of the year hibernating among true statues on castle properties. The gem on their chest only turns red during the autumn months, and is a dull gray through the others in order to help it hide. A trained Golem that is fed leaves throughout the year will not hibernate, and it's gem will remain bright year-round.
It's smaller counterpart is the Fountain Golem, which lives on fountains and among decorative koi ponds. These Golems are only awake during winter, as they eat ice instead of leaves, and their chest gems are a pale blue.
