The solar avraels are one of the many creatures that mark the beginning of autumn. Always in motion, the avraels collect all sorts of nuts and fruit, hoarding food for the approaching winter. Like the red and brown avraels, the solar types possess delicate-looking wings that seem too fragile for flight. Surprisingly, the avraels use their wings skillfully, gliding from one tree to another. They love to glide, often accompanying magis on trips as their magic over air allows them to glide over extended periods of time. The solar avraels make for valuable scouts as they move in complete silence. However, untrained avraels will not do a great job, as they easily get distracted from their task, stopping at the nearest tree to gather more nuts.
