Freezing

I dont get why people would want to freeze their eggs or hatchlings, because to me its pretty pointless, since you cant undo it, and it cant grow or anything. If you have a reason please say so! I'm just confused why..

There are several topics about that and I think there is one called "100 reasons for freezing".

I, personally, don't like freezing either, except I like the hatchling more than the adult.
So I froze some jackalopes because the hatchlings are so cute.^^

I have a collection of frozen eggs because the eggs are very pretty! I have them simply because I like them.

I collect frozen hatchlings because I think they're cute. You may as well ask what the "point" is in donation creatures, either, since they can't breed either, right?

Sometimes I just like the hatchling description, too--the paragraph for Rewin, Valcerian, and the new CWs are awesome! You lose that with the adult. Mostly though it's the cute hatchies--Valcerians and the bunnies are 2 of my faves--

I freeze eggs because they look pretty. Others may have other reasons, but overall, the point of this site is to look at and collect pretty or cool sprites; for me, that includes eggs.

This. The hatchlings are adorable, and some of them look a lot better than the adults. And like Keolah said, if your argument is that non-breeding frozen hatchlings are "pointless", then donis are "pointless" as well save for the cobalt wyverns and new crystalwings.

My favorite hatchie description right now has to be the tinsel wyrm - I didn't even know what it was until I finally got my frozen tinsel, and now I like its description much more than the adult's. That mischievous little critter~

How tired am I of people questioning about frozen eggs/hatchlings? You can't go on an adoptables site without someone questioning it! And as it was pointed out; it happens four times a week.

I do it because the hatchlings are cute, the eggs are gorgeous, and I like a stage of everything. My quotas for every adoptables site that allows it is, at least, a pair adults, a hatchling, and a frozen egg. Often I get more sets than even that.

They are *pixel* animals, people. They are not real. Tristan himself says, "They're pixels. We don't care if you freeze them."

We get them because we can and because we want a collection of everything the artists do.

It's our choice.

I haven't frozen any creatures yet, but a agree with some people, some hatchlings and eggs are pretty cute.
