I just saw the 3rd one, which was amazing, but also completely and utterly heartbreaking.

I saw the third movie yesterday, and it was definitely both amazing and heartbreaking. This movie didn't seem as slow as the other two, probably because this one has mostly action.

Also, I feel like the movies would be a lot more enjoyable if they decided to split The Hobbit into 2 parts instead of 3. The first 2 movies felt really slow and seemed to drag on.

The new movie was amazing. But I have to agree with Starcatcher-- I think The Hobbit would've worked with only two parts. But, nonetheless, they still made great movies! It's kind of sad to see the Middle Earth trilogy come to an end. :/

I went saw Battle of the Five Armies the other day. It was definitely a good movie and I'm soooo glad I had tissues with me because it made me cry!

I thought it was a very good movie, but now that I look back, there were a few things that weren't covered. Like Thorin's burial with the Arkenstone and with Orcrist, maybe Fili and Kili's burials as well, (Fili was definitely killed off too quickly) and also, whatever happened to Tauriel? Did she just go back to the Woodland Realm? To me, she seems like the kind of person who would want to keep on fighting. :wtf:
