Um the Red banner gave me a Google Chrome Server Error page after I finally figured out which 'Crystalwing' number was the purple one and put up how much gold I lost as well as a Coal Wyrm Egg and then I hit Error...

not trying to complain since I only seem to have lost a couple Eggs and some gold but I was kinda sad to lose my 2011 GB Purple Crystalwing egg....I'll just keep trying the Red Tab till it works I suppose

I'm sorry to tell you this but it ain't happening. What is gone is now GONE. They don't give a damn, otherwise they would've fixed the banner thing by now. So complain away, everyone else is. If we nag them enough then maybe, just maybe, they'll get off their ass and DO SOMETHING. They have logs. USE THEM.

Oh, and everyone who has extra eggs, consider yourselves lucky. You've got free eggs that could be someone else's.

Per another user who tried this, they have recovered some of their lost creatures:

From trade, and adding tabs (max it out at 50) you can recover critters till Jan 24 or 25 which means you are back to where you were critter wise immediately after the Feb crash for the most part.

I'm confused :tard: Just add random tabs until you hit 50 and see if anything is in them?

From what I understand, you have to keep creating tabs until you max out on tabs, which is 50. After that, start a trade (with anyone - use our old welcome bot, Anna, if you must) and then run through all the tabs and put those creatures into trade.

Once you're done, cancel the trade and the creatures that were in the trade will be in your Main tab.

It's times like this I'm glad i save pictures of my critters, i made myself a list and i think after going through the pictures i saved and my different tabs, i was able to find what all of mine poofed, mainly all the eggs (and the ones i actually managed to hatch) i got from the gifting event and i think my silver koi fish reverted back to a hatching Unless i had a second one and forgot X3

And some sites would tell you oh well, buyer beware. Tristan spent all weekend ensuring there would even be a site at all, and he is working on getting people back what they've lost. Give him a chance.

I'm pissed. The damn banner doesn't work. You really expect me to memorize and remember the 1,000 creatures I lost? This is probably never going to change. I may never be able to reorganize my posts. Forget the Merchant District and everything. There is no point of having the creatures if they'll just disappear. This might just be an upset breakdown, but I am SO UPSET I want to cry forever. This meant so much to me. Now it's gone. ;_; We also need to change the stupid list thing... We need genders and dates, etc. I want to fuckin die

Ditto on this! Especially ditto on the memorizing. I didn't lose nearly as many as Crazyflight, but it looks like everything I had in my nursery tab after January for me is gone and lost, and I really don't want to wade through all my other creatures to make sure I haven't lost any in there. I had almost 800 creatures and now I'm down to about 680. Even that "few" I'd be hard pressed to remember everything. I had rose imps, but now, unless I'm mistaken, the second xandi bear that I raised to even get them is now a hatchling again! I had a ton of humming birds which are now gone, an Ariessa, not to mention a bunch of the rest of the new creatures. It took me months to gather those creatures. On top of it all, I had recently completed a trade of a kraken I was trying for months to get because I had the other one and they were progenitors of a lineage, and that's gone too. And most of my stored PMs are gone.

I've survived quite a few database crashes, errors, site outages, and all sorts of things since I first joined the site and they seem to occur far too frequently. This is too much. There are other places to play that are just as big and way more stable.

Edit: and you wanna know what really takes the cake for me? The red bar page says:

We also might decide to publish the usernames of everyone who intentionally tries to get free stuff out of this. I know almost all of you will be very honest, but there are some people who have tried to take advantage of problems like these in the past.


EXCUSE ME?! How can I be honest if I don't even know how many hummingbird hatchlings I had? My request is going to get denied if I put in too many or too little? Are you freaking kidding me?

how long is the tab thing going to be up? because if i cant use it then my only option to get my creatures back is to go to a friends house and try firefox instead but i cant get there for a week or so :/
