Animal Crossing: New Horizons Guild

Um...hi. So I thought it would be cool to start an MS group for AC: NH players. We can trade fruits, flowers, furniture, and villagers. I think we should use Dodo Codes each time we want to visit each other's islands because, if we use Friend Codes, someone untrustworthy could visit our islands and ruin them (ie. they're allowed to use tools to chop down trees and dig up flowers, plus they could steal furniture). So, to start off, I have all of the fruits (cherries, apples, pears, oranges, peaches, and coconuts), and I have tulips, hyacinths, wind-flowers, lilies, and pansies. That means I would like somebody to trade me mums, roses, and cosmos.

I also found this website: https://nookazon.com/

You can search for any kind of, well, anything, and find people who are willing to trade with you. The downside is that the website doesn't have its own messaging system, so it uses Discord (which I dislike intensely). Anyway, feel free to post what you have in your town and if you need anything!

EDIT: If you like anime, I found this website with amazing anime inspired patterns/clothing: https://www.nintendoenthusiast.com/anim ... nime-gear/

Ohhh that sounds like fun.

One thing to note, you can't use axes on islands with people that you're not Best Friends with (in game) so even if you invite them in w/ a friend code unless you accept/send a friend request they can't use axes on your trees, or at all (I think the same goes with shovels, so while they could pluck flowers, which will grow back, they wouldn't be able to dig them up). So even if you open up your gates to 'all [Switch] friends' unless the person coming over is on your AC Best Friends list they can't do much to your island.
Flower plucking and shaking fruit from trees is about the only thing but those all grow back.
I think it's to prevent that very thing from happening.

And I don't, think you can steal placed objects either, if only b/c when you have friends over you can't decorate (putting furniture down or picking it up) so visitors can't take it either. You can drop items and people can pick those up, but that's it.

As for flowers, I actually have Mums! They're my native ones and Nook's sells them. I do have Roses and Cosmos but not a lot so I'm working on growing more

Heya! I'm just gonna list things as they come to mind.

Flowers and fruit:
- I have all fruits and am happy to share
- My shop carries these seeds: cosmos, pansies, roses, windflowers, tulips, hyacinths
- Native flower is cosmos, so I have a lot of adult flowers up for grabs
- I have a lot of hybrid flowers that I'd like to give away, to free up space: pink cosmos, orange cosmos, blue hyacinth, orange hyacinth, pink hyacinth

Crafting/recipes:
Celeste recipes I can craft: star wand, Aries rocking chair, starry garland, starry wall, flying saucer
Celeste recipes/furniture I'm looking for: Crescent moon chair (have materials)

The ironwood set seems pretty popular (at least on Reddit), so here are the pieces I'm able to craft: chair, cart, dresser, bed, cupboard, and the kitchenette (as well as the cutting board needed to craft this piece). I can also craft the garden bench (iron/wood). I'm happy to craft anything, just provide materials ^_^

I can craft all of the cherry blossom stuff and I stocked up on blossoms, so I'm happy to help with those as well if anyone missed the event or didn't get everything they wanted.

I have a decent selection of clothing, wallpapers, flooring, and furniture - if you're looking for something, just ask! We can best friend each other in game and I can order things from the catalog for you, and vice versa. I don't mind ordering some items for free if it's under 10k bells.

Some stuff I'm looking for:
Spoiler
Springy ride horses in these colors: pink, white and red (have zebra)
Monster statue in blue, purple (I have black, can get it in red from a friend)
Streetlamp in white, black (have brown)
Park clock in white (have black)
Popcorn machine in black, blue (have pink)
Lighthouse in white&blue (have white&red, can also get it in white&black)
Cardboard boxes: apples, oranges, peaches, pears (mine have the cherry logo)

I'm willing to trade bells, Nook miles tickets, other furniture, or just color/variant swap.
I'm happy to open my island whenever for any Magi who wants to browse my tailor and/or shop ^.^

I'll list things I have, but right now I don't feel comfy with strangers on the internet visiting my island. Nothing against others, I am just a really shy person.

My island's starting fruit was peaches. I now have pears, apples, and cherries. Could've had 'em all with the oranges I got from Mom, but I did the very thing I told myself I wouldn't do, to several people, sold them. (((((:
I also have bamboo trees growing, sometimes bamboo shoots are buried around them.

While I am happy to share, I'm an incredibly shy person and rather insecure about my island. It's coming along very slowly, because I tend to get distracted by my plethora of other games that I want to play. Right now, my only Best Friend is the one person I know in real life and feel comfortable with him being able to visit and talk with. I may soften up as I play through the seasons, though, and perhaps reach out to strangers.

I am enjoying crossbreeding flowers. I have tulips, mums, and from the latest Nature Day event; Hyacinths, Cosmos, and Roses!

But hey, I love Animal Crossing and I'd like to discuss it with others. Though, I may ramble on about nonsense sometimes and gush about my favorite villagers, I guess that's normal, huh.

So I should have posted this over a week ago ( ), but the May Day event ran from May 1st to May 7th. During this time, you could get a ticket to visit a special island from Tom Nook. This island had a (really annoying) maze on it, and if you were able to clear the maze, you got to see Rover! Also, Rover gave out a special item called "Rover's Briefcase."

So, did you guys clear the maze? I think I cleared it on my first attempt on May 5th-ish, but it took me quite awhile, since I didn't use any guides or anything. I don't really understand the "prize" though. I mean...it's a briefcase. It doesn't do anything. Also...it's kind of an ugly briefcase. :t-shrug:

Also, I was wondering what your opinions are on time travelling. Do you guys consider it cheating? Personally, I don't. I've played Animal Crossing since Wild World, and I've always time traveled. It just makes the game more fun for me. What do you think?

That maze was hell! I'm terrible with that kind of puzzles but I finished it without looking for help.

I don't time travel because I like to play this game slow so I don't get bored. But I have nothing against players who do time travel.

If anyone has the DIY recipe for the Western-style stone I would love to buy it from you!

Hey, I've got an extra DIY recipe for the Western-style stone. What time do you usually come online (on Magistream)? I can send you a Dodo Code and give it to you the next time we're both online. Does that sound okay?

Today is International Museum Day, both irl and in AC:NH. Once a day, every day, from today until the end of May, you can participate in a Stamp Rally at the museum. Basically, you have to collect 3 stamps from the bug exhibit, 3 from the fossil exhibit, and 3 from the fish exhibit. Then, when you present the stamped cards to Blathers, he'll give you 3 prizes: a bug plaque, a fossil plaque, and a fish plaque. These are essentially useless, but you can hang them on your walls for decoration. You can get one of each per day. Get them while you can!
