Gatherings Of The North (fantasy rp, open and accepting)

A barren tree stands before you. Its twisting and turning branches look mysterious. You gulp. Small glowing specks flutter around you. You feel your hands that were once rested at your side float. You feel an object enter your hands. Its unique shape fits perfectly in the crevasses of your rough, dirty, hands.
A battle of North and South plague us, you must battle or protect, something we beg, the darkness of the evil cannot be beat without your help. From the smallest Fairy to the strongest Selkie.
Welcome to The North, a place in the middle of nowhere in it's own dimension. Not a town nor a country, a place. You live around the market place, the farmlands, the shoppe center, or the middle of the forest. You choose. You start out, gaining your power.
RULES:
no mini-modding
no overpowering
no 18+ stuff
the basic rp rules
no super weird powers (like the power to eat eyeballs or something)

Powers you CAN have:
divination (you can use magical items to produce fortune telling and cast minor spells, such as luck spells)
shape shifting into a dog (any breed)
shape shift into a cat (any breed)
shape shift into a insect (any)
shape shift into a canine (any non domestic canine)
shape shift into a feline (any non domestic feline)
elemental manipulation (you can set things on fire (fire), or bend wind, make it snow (air), help plants grow a bit (earth), move water and you can even freeze it (water), you may only have one element)
Flowers and vegetation (you can grow flowers and small plants, in this case you are kind of a bee)
sewing powers (you can sew anything and fix anything that was sewed, make any pattern, sew just using your mind -you could be doing something else but just have floating needles- go ham with this power)
Alchemist or cooking power (most people with this power brew potions and heal people but the best chefs in the land truly use their power to its true use. You can infuse your food with magic for lasting effects -love, health, beauty, etc- potions really do the same but i quite enjoy this power.)
fighting magic (you have a knack for any type of fighting, weapons included)
bird speak and shift (you can either shift into a bird of choice and/or understand what birds are saying)
book and writing magic (you have a power to remember everything, you can write down everything, but with the great power to never forget comes the burden of always remembering, sometimes the forgotten should stay that way. This, personally, is one of my favorite powers)
The Pendragon Charm (with such a name comes with such a blunt power, you can understand any language ever spoken, maybe looking at ancient writing might be interesting to you....)
Metal working (you can melt and shape any metal or man made material, people with this power are usually black smiths)
Breathing underwater (it explains itself pretty well but you can breathe underwater
Witches bloodline (you are a witch, in tradition of your people you wear white in the warm seasons and black in the cold, you can fly on a broom made from special wood, moon chestnut, this tree is only found by witches and its branches are only harvested once every 3 years, you get a branch at age 13 as a coming of age ceremony, you make the broom yourself, some just leave the branch as is)
