Tatzelwurm (Telvian Panther + Raza Cobras)

Southern and Northern Cobras both produce the same hybrid when bred with a telvian panther
Egg:
This egg rest upon a long, curled, reptilian tail.
Hatchling:
Unexpectedly, this hatchling appears to have the head and front legs of a cat, while the rest is reptilian in nature. It is completely black except for its yellow eyes, which glow faintly in the dark. The fur on its upper body blends into scales without a trace. You cant seem to locate where exactly this happens.
Adult:
The adult Tatzelwurm seems to enjoy being around cold areas, despite its reptilian roots. You've discovered it is, indeed, warm blooded, and does not take kindly to hot or humid conditions. It is most active at night, when it can hide in the shadows. Only its softly glowing yellow eyes alert you it is, in fact, still around. Despite its behavior, you dont feel unnerved by it. Perhaps it has no ill intentions, contradicting the stories you've been told.
General:
Tatzelwurms make their homes in the mountains, especially where its cold and isolated. Adults are rarely seen outside these extreme conditions, and those that are are usually seen only for a moment. Elusive as they may be, Magi that treck through the mountains have often stumbled upon them, but do not dare stay long. Should an adult be guarding a nest of young, they would be risking their lives to stick around. Those that have been lucky enough to steal an egg return with horror stories of the process. Surprisingly enough, they are fond of gryphons, even fire gryphons. This might come from both nesting in the mountains. It would be safe to assume they come across each other often in the wild.
