Re: Thunderbird -- Creature 665
I clicked one thinking maybe it was a hydra.. haven't been here for a while but I was like, 'Thunderbird?'
So I clicked on the link & was like, 'Where dafuq is the images?'
Then I went to the main page to see the counter went up from 664 to 665 haha. & so I obv rushed here to see what it could possibly be!

Re: Thunderbird -- Creature 665
Adult male!
(I went afk and suddenly I had an adult, uh thanks anonymous peep?)
Such an amazing looking sprite, wow
EDIT: Almost forgot the adult description~
"Once their adult feathers grow in, thunderbirds are often too big to stay in their magi's rooms - much to the relief of any magi with important paperwork. They prefer high places and will often fly to the top of The Keep to roost on any outcropping large enough to support their weight. They must be kept away from snakes like the Raza cobras and vitons, as they consider these creatures their mortal enemies. An adult thunderbird is a little more mature than a hatchling, but that doesn't stop them from occasionally causing a thunderstorm just to send everyone running into shelter, and they still create complicated dances, especially just before more natural rainfall."

Oh my god, Thunderbirds.
I guess this means that creature 666 will be the midmonth.

Yah like if they were super fluffy or looked like a poof ball ?Lia wrote:Wow the adult looks so regal! (I do think the hatchlings are cuter though )
In any case, I still like these sprites. They were very well made. c:

/dead
they're just like the raiju with lightning around them and aaaah + dimorphism, I am a happy happy girl.
I hope they're permanent stream additions so I can hoard them forever
