Wow I didn't realize just how hard it would be to come up with a description for this creature. Didn't know what to name it so I just called it a Tropical Griffin. Got bored so I did a pic. Was made on Coral Paint Shop Pro. If this does win, I plan on doing variations of it. different Tropical birds as well as different tropical Big cats.

General
Only recently discovered, there is not much information on Tropical Griffins, though they are rumored to descend from the crossing of a Tropical bird, and a large Tropical cat. Unlike their counterpart Gryphons, Tropical Griffins are herbivores. They're commonly seen flying and moving in mass flocks from tree to tree, eating most of the fruit and leaves that they find. Nesting in the high cliffs of the Jungle of Raza, their young are not easy to come by. When a new hatchling is born, they young stay with the parent for 2 years after hatching, learning all that they can from their intelligent parents before taking to wing by themselves. Though their lifespan is unknown, they are loyal, protective, and great companions for the time that a normal Magi would live.
Egg
Large colorful wings curl around this egg
Hatchling
This young Tropical Griffin is beginning to resemble the crossing of the brilliant colors of a Scarlet Macaw and the hind body of a tiger. The stripes of the tiger are faint, but darken as the days pass. It seems to take a liking to fruits, though will eat small plants. This youngling is also beginning to speak small phrases, though mimicking only what its parents say. Its talons are growing longer, and its beginning to grip things like a Magi would. It seems to always want to follow you around, and is beginning to show loyalty to you.
Adult
Your Tropical Griffin has matured into an elaborately colored adult. Now speaking full sentences, it carries on conversations with you. Tropical Griffins love to play, and seem to always be flying from place to place. Its talons have grown longer, and its beak has become slightly darker then when it was a hatchling. The feathers on its head lay flat, unless curious or startled. Now it is always at you side, watching every magi who wanders near. It lets out a screech and its feathers spike when it feels you are in danger. A constant companion, it is loyal to you till the end. Though only if you're kind enough to it.

Yes, that is very pretty. I'd almost guess it could become a quest animal... a cross between a puvia and a gryphon!

One thing though; in the last sentence, it should be "you're" instead of "your". Other than that, I didn't notice any errors that jumped out at me.
