Personally? Because eggs are v. pretty. I really wish that Dragoncave, the other sprite collecting site I'm a part of, allowed us to freeze eggs as well as hatchies... it's also a good guide for me, so that when I'm done I can look at my Keep and know that if I pick up *this* egg, it will grow into *this* creature.

As for why you should pay money for them, sometimes there are rare eggs or Doni pets that people have chosen to freeze, and then they're worth money b/c it's hard to find eggs like that. Afaik, no, they can't be unfrozen... but in some ways, that makes them more valuable, to someone who wants to collect eggs.

But back to the meme! Five minutes ago I was shoveling snow in my driveway, so now I'm sitting at my desk trying to get some feeling back into my arms
