reviving this thread to express that i have hatched 8 creepers and i have 4 red females and 4 green males... like to my understanding the colors aren't gender specific and the beastiary says the color sprite is random so it's weird the way they've hatched TT
like some beastiary entries specify that certain colors are a rarer shiny/alternate sprite, and the 2018 convos here seem to point to the purple and blue being more rare. and six years later i concur !! LOL

I have 2 female Reds and 2 male Blues. It could still just be coincidence. Too small of a sample size to make assumptions. Like sometimes I get 8/10 males from a creature or weird odds like 15/20, but I'm sure if I would gather 100 of those, it would even out to 50%.
needless to say, thanks for reminding me that I need to try and get the other colors as well or swap them with someone...
