The science center in my city is starting a mummies exhibit this month and I want to go so bad.

Hopefully I can overcome this fatigue before it ends in September to go see it

I was last in KC almost 20 years ago at a Slanted Fedora con. (They're the ones who bounced a check on Sir Patrick Stewart.)

eta: I have an event on that weekend that I'm unable to avoid (as I'm on the planning committee!)

Went to the dentist, aaaaand...the molar is dead. It slowly became obvious after not only did the air not hurt, but when he broke off a huge chunk of tooth and I felt nothing.

They said the tissue at the end of the roots is however infected because my body is rejecting the dead tooth or something, so they drilled a hole for that to drain (I'm also supposed to "suck" on the tooth to help, yuck). Going back monday to see his daughter (a fellow dentist) and find out if it needs to be pulled or if they can do something with it. Oh joy...

I also came out of it drenched in anxiety sweat

Ouch. Hopefully they can save it with a root canal.

It's a little past midnight and the workers in the nearby building are still 'working'. They set up a huge light less than 30 meters in front of my window and they're just chilling.
Guess I'll sleep with another headache

Uh... I had a dream about magistream.

(In the dream) I'd posted a topic for halloween (something about the halloween release creature) titled something... I can't remember the first part, but I remember the second part "Where, when and why?" I believe it was like, post a short story about how you obtained the halloween egg in the magistream universe, as well as how many you have currently. Unfortunately, my dream self totally forgot about ever posting said topic for about 2 weeks, and when I came back to it there were 2 pages of post responses. It seemed pretty popular... There were some great short stories, and someone posted a half finished pic of a rearing brown warhorse with a fully armored knight, but the head wasn't complete... It was floating off somewhere else in the post. The thing looked like it could plow through a wall like an ox. (Knight: your supposed to jump over the wall. Horse: What wall?) Someone else posted that they thought the topic was a brilliant idea and decided to send me 10k for... keeping it going, or something? (keep up the good work!) but when I checked the dream trades there was no new trades, probably because I'd completely forgotten I'd ever posted that... Which was a bummer. And for some reason the Halloween creature's egg looked suspiciously like the most recent release, the Aevum Spicalx egg... I guess even my dreaming brain can't remember anything either.

Then I woke up. My bank has no extra 10k in it, and I (pretty sure) never made a topic like that. Good job, brain. Couldn't it have at least been in the magi universe? With the posts on the school bulletin board or something?... So there you have it. Talk about random. So now I'm just confused; Why that of all things to dream about?

I thought the point of dreaming was to escape reality in some way? ...The dream posts were pretty good, though. Pity I only remembered that awesome picture from it. That was pretty cool.

Disclaimer: I don't usually dream about stuff like this, which is why I'm confused.
