Can honestly say I’ve never heard of that before. sprite wise, these were mostly me being bored one day and seeing what happened. Description wise, I’m not sure since I didn’t write them.

I love Miyazaki films, and now I'm wondering how cool that would be to have a Calcifer type creature and yes this kinda reminded me of it. Though I'd rather have a Calcifer with a pan of bacon frying (for april fools). LOL
What are the chances that once this matures, we'll have scorched pages or scorched creatures from time to time? Just a thought.
Bought just one. When I see what the adult looks like, I may buy another.
Please do not mine my Keep. However, whatever I have in the Main tab is open for clicks, should you feel so inclined. Thanks for understanding (and for any clicks!)
I actually really like that these guys come in jars. The moment I saw the jar I bought it, and i'm a person who usually waits to see the adults before doing anything. That jar is cool.
Most artificer critters shouldn't hatch from eggs IMO. They should come in boxes, jars, teeny-tiny versions of the hatchlings that slowly grow become more animate overtime, or as piles of parts that slowly assemble themselves. It would be way cooler and it would allow for some pretty creative "eggs".
When fully grown, flaming comets are awe-inspiring fiery shapeshifters. They will often take on the form of other creatures and as they are more than a little vain, they especially enjoy showing off their skills to any large crowd. During summer and fall festivals it is common to see groups of flaming comets dancing in the air above the tents, gleefully screeching at small children who are particularly fond of the pretty designs the flaming comets draw in the night sky. Parents and those in charge of fire safety are less fond of flaming comets, and it's not unusual to see a magi and their comet creature being told off for being careless of the dangers of dry brush and sparks. Flaming comets must be trained lest they accidentally burn and scorch everything around them, but this should be done carefully. A badly trained flaming comet will find itself confined to a fireplace where it may sulk among the logs until it learns to be more careful of its surroundings.
