I just had a quick check in the Bestiary, and we are releasing things between donis. At least one creature a month.

There are quite a few months when only donis were released. Sometimes two months in a row, it seems.
To tell the truth, I would really like to see one or two other creatures pop up per month, in the summer months - because those always seem to be the most dead ones, unfortunately, with people being on vacation an whatnot.

Can you tell me which months? Maybe there's a pattern. Are you counting event creatures as part of the 'doni' category?

I was speaking theoretically. Logistics aren't anywhere near being ready to discuss (plus we don't know what we're working with). This is simply to get people thinking about something we can do. However, since you ask:

December Donations -
284 x 3 = $852
247 x 5 = $1,235
448 x 2 = $896
== $2,983

You're forgetting to add the re-released donis into your shards math. The Frost and Earth Unicorns were in December's Black Market.

No, I'm counting the event ones as 'normal' releases. The artists put a lot of effort into making all these pixels and it would be really crazy to expect other creatures to be released in a month when both event and donis are released.

For instance, from Reckel (mid Feb 2014) to the Asctacus (April 2014) only donis were released. Which means March had only donis.
From the Stelera Eagle (mid May 2014) to Lusine Moth (mid July 2014) only donis as well.
Ibis (mid June 2015) to Filigree Cat (mid July 2015)
The C Levis (June 2016) to the Gryps (July 2016)
Papio to Deshkivari (again June - July, 2017)

It's not a lot, if you think of it this way, but it mostly happens in summer?
Yes, other creatures were released in... June 2015, lets say, before the Ibis, but then you have 4 donis following one after another - mid to mid, which is a full month, so to speak?

First, I think all adoptables sites are down a bit--I don't get the clicks I used to from Yarold's.
Second--no ad every brought me to an adoptable site. Friends on other kinds of forums got me hooked on Dragon Cave, that led me here for better art and faster play. I think adoptable sites grow by word of mouth, not advertisements.

And we need a little slowdown after the whole Halloween/Harvest/Christmas slew of events!

We had great quests and events last year--I think the site is doing a great job with plenty for folks to do.

I agree adoptable sites seem to grow best by word of mouth. (Word of keyboard?) I too came here from Dragon Cave, after having been introduced to DC on a parenting forum. Most of the other forums I was on are pretty dead now, with many having moved to Facebook groups. It is not as easy to get others interested from there, though, as there are not signatures one can display the pets in. Maybe someone could create a picture people could share on Facebook?
My grandson has just set up an account here, but he's 7 and has to be closely supervised.

Which also coincides with when people tend to take vacations. Idk what kinds of schedules our artists/mods have but, I would not be at all surprised if this was vacation time for them So things just, take a lull then.

It's also right after Magiversary, which is generally pretty big.
