http://www.liveaquaria.com
http://www.azgardens.com/
http://www.livefishdirect.com/
http://www.franksaquarium.com/ (I'm ordering some nano schoolers for my 5.5 eventually from here, I've heard some pretty good things)
http://www.aquabid.com/ is basically Fish eBay.

I've also gotten some hardy cherry shrimp from http://www.tadege.com/ but they weren't particularly pretty. Cheap, though.

aww man.... now I want like 50 tanks for all the pretty swimmyfishies!
That first link was great. It gave lots of good information about the fish and their care and even breeding. Prices were a bit high though.

Thank you all for many fun years.

Finally managed to redo the 32 gallon.

Immediately after fixing it up last night:

Today, after all the fish were back in:

Need to order some more plants, though.

I'm so jealous of your plants.

btw- whoever gave me the tip- thank you for telling me to feed my guppies a higher protein diet. I started giving them a block of frozen brine shrimp every evening a couple months ago, and now I've got clouds of babies!

Haha, only two of them are new. I'm upset that I had to toss out my huge anubias nana, though. It was completely covered in black hair algae. My bronze crypt(the mass of plants on the right) has a spattering of it on the edges too, but I'm working on it.

Anyway, plants from left to right/back to front:
-Water hyssop/Bacopa (bacopa monnieri)
-Red melon sword (echinodorus barthii v. "red melon")
-Madagascar lace sword (Aponogeton madagascariensis)
-Bronze crypt (Cryptocoryne wendtii ' Tropica')
-Dwarf saggitaria (Sagittaria subulata)
-Dwarf lily (Nuphar stellata)
-Anubias congensis
-Java/Christmas moss mix tied onto driftwood.

Probably going to try to get a Vesuvius echinodorus again, I loved the one I had. Might try for pearl grass as ground cover, probably going to replace the bacopa with something else.

What do you do about that black hair algae?

After I got my Nerite snails, I haven't had ANY issues with algae, despite the tank being in the same room with a huge picture window ( it pretty much covers the east wall of the room ), and having a light on all day. I don't have a timer for it, so it tends to be on for 14 to 16 hours. I only have 3 of the snails, although they HAVE made babies! Everything I read says Nerites don't breed in captivity... but I have never introduced anything that could have brought in snails with it, and I've definitely got babies crawling around. Not a lot of them and they don't grow fast, they might even die out again, but they get into all the nooks and crannies on my plastic plants and I haven't had to bleach them since the nerites came in.

I've got at least 3, and I think 4 waves of baby guppies now. The oldest ones are about quarter grown, the youngest were just born yesterday, they're so tiny!

I don't have many problems with algae aside from tiny spatterings my snails miss, or the black beard/hair algae. From what I understand BBA comes from bad water quality initially, so I'm just trying to keep my water under control in addition to dosing the tank with seachem excel, which does appear to kill it. Very few fish actually eat BBA so that tends to be an issue.
