This is a very neat idea.

I also like the idea of a willow tree-maiden....bark body of the tree in form of a maiden and made to look like a willow tree. Umalia has drawn this type of concept before...I think it would be a very cool addition.

But you should only be able to have one as long as you stay in the belonging Brotherhood, so people don't change brotherhoods for a lot of money to get both.

Uhm, I was thinking something like a Persona from, well, Persona 4. Like, a creature that represents "your true self" in this, and once you do... something, they become an ally.
