What was once your small, sweet rewin dragon has grown, and grown, and grown. Your companion is hardly recognizable from the sweet creature it once was. The soft scales adorning its neck and back have hardened into sharp points, and it no longer enjoys your affection as it once did. Its diet now consists of immense quantities of raw meat, and to contend with its demanding appetite it must venture out, supplying its own meals. While still friendly to others of its kind, this dragon is mostly solitary, not seeming to enjoy company. Rewin ancients live in caves they gouge out from rock, and are extremely possessive, allowing no one near. While you miss these creature's once sweet temper, these larger rewin dragons devastate enemies in battle, and even lend their strength to their magi in times of crisis. Not all rewins become ancients, thankfully – the Keep certainly would not be able to contend with their foul moods and strength.
