The year is almost done. New creatures will appear soon after the Yule season has completed or soon before. Traditionally, it has started on/around the 31st/1st (December to January). Can't wait to see what glorious colours they hold this time.

Ye, hey I love traditions, culture and stuff a lot, but I don't know if this is the best way to have a creature thread set up, since usually they're supposed to be pretty simple and clean so everyone can get the information they need. Not to be mean or disrespectful or anything, but when only the last sentence bit is about the creature/topic/upcoming release itself... It's probably better to have the extra text somewhere else - Magistream does try to kinda keep their events without too many irl connections, I Think
I could be wrong, but hey
A simple 'predictions' kinda thread might be better for these things

There's no event. There's no new creature release that needs a speculation thread right now, especially not one made days in advance. So I will be locking this thread, and I will be explaining why.

Generally speaking, we have always encouraged everyone on this site to participate and speculate about upcoming creature releases and so have had few specific rules about making event speculation threads. However it appears that this situation is potentially being misused and I am now receiving multiple complaints from other players who feel one person is controlling things to their preferences only. While I do not enjoy calling out anyone publicly, in this case my hand has been forced.

Windi1, I am sorry and I am not trying to be rude, but it's time to let other people have fun as well and to let them create event threads and creature release threads. I appreciate your enthusiasm for the site, and hope that you will continue to enjoy participating in the community.

For everyone's knowledge, in January we will be posting a few updates to the rules about event threads being made in advance. As mentioned above, I am still content to leave these threads in our player's hands, but you do have to share your cookies. A new thread can be made when the next creature release happens, not before.
