hatchling description:
Spoiler
No bigger than a few millimeters, Onapae flea hatchlings can cause havoc in a short period of time if not overseen in a carefully set up space. Not having developed their antivenom yet, the hatchlings will bite and produce rashes on a creature's skin just like any other common parasite. As soon as they are satisfied with the damage they created, the hatchlings will change hosts and start all over again in an attempt to awaken their magic abilities. Until they manage to distinguish the healthy from the ill, plenty of creatures will receive small quantities of antivenom even if not needed. Creatures with thick fur are the most at risk as these hatchlings thrive in warm environments. Fortunately, they mature in a matter of days and will stop pestering healthy creatures in favor of those who need to be healed.

adult description:
Spoiler
Named after the magi who discovered them, adult Onapae fleas are considered by most a blessing rather than a pest. With incredible strong antivenom, a few dozens of these fleas are able to cure even the deadliest of venoms if allowed near the wound. They will ingest any and all toxins and release a substance intended to cure the disease in a matter of minutes. Although incredibly useful, the downside of having Onapae fleas as companions is the risk of being bitten if there are no toxins for them to feed on. Always hungry, the adult Onapae fleas will hop from one host to another, in search of a venom-induced disease needed to be healed. They are a common solution, especially when it comes to sick creatures that refuse any sort of medical treatment. However, they are to be removed as soon as the creature shows signs of recovery, otherwise, the fleas will hide within their host's fur. Those who specialize in toxin-based potions are advised to keep them in tightly screwed bottles; even so, Onapae flea adults are more often than not discovered floating inside vials after having feasted for weeks.
general description:
Spoiler
Commonly found in the Etain desert, the flea was accidentally discovered by a magi going by the name of Onapae. Young and inexperienced, Onapae was not cautious enough in her travels in the arid lands and stepped on an unknown scorpion. The venom spread quickly and the magi found herself paralyzed, no help in sight. However, she recovered unexpectedly. Searching her body, the magi observed multiple strange-looking fleas around the wound, their bellies full, looking content. They appeared bigger than the usual pests about the size of a grain of rice, with bodies as smooth as polished metal. Marveled by her discovery, the magi found the scorpion's body and stung herself again. She watched in awe as more fleas appeared seemingly out of nowhere and started feasting on her wound, ingesting the scorpion's venom and releasing a mysterious antidote in return. Seeing the potential of a new and useful creature, Onapae returned to the Keep with several fleas in possession, intending to study these miraculous parasites thoroughly.

Loving the idea of a Magi just returning to the Keep with fleas for the first time and just being like, "Hey guys I brought new friends."

Really interested in seeing the adults for these guys. Fleas are definitely not something I would have expected.
