Omg are these based off the foo foo dogs :O

Actually they are Medici lions of Roman origin - but they could have been influenced by seeing the Chinese ones.

The foo foo dogs are one of my favorite mythics. Now that I see the adults, yeah they don't look much alike. But definitely look cool enough for me to get a pair

To be honest, I'm not sure of their actual name. I've always referred them to guardian lions. But i wasn't sure if others would understand what I was talking about.

And as far as the tenera dogs go, I'm upset with how both male and female look exactly the same.
