Parrot Creatures! (listing them all-- help appreciated)

Okay, so I am very much a parrot enthusiast-- and hoping to eventually collect all of Magistream's parrot creatures-- so I'm going to try to list them all below with their prices and the species they're based on, in order of their Bestiary number.
Most prices are for streamborn (SB) creatures! Hybrid prices are for 1st-generation creatures! If the creature is a combination of species, I am only listing its parrot components.
Please provide input if I've missed any, or if their prices are incorrect! Even nitpicky suggestion are welcome! Polite criticism and corrections are very appreciated

A Simple Compendium of Magistream Psittacines

#311: Caul Vaether


Based on the wildtype coloration of a scarlet macaw (Ara macao), the Caul Vaether is a retired 3-shard donation creature.
Pricing ranges from 175-275k.


#312: Ruan Vaether


Based on the wildtype coloration of a blue & gold macaw (Ara ararauna), the Ruan Vaether is a retired 5-shard donation creature.
Pricing ranges from 250-325k.


#482: Liefde Agaori


Based on the wildtype coloration of a masked lovebird, also called the yellow-collared lovebird (Agapornis personatus), the Liefde Agaori is a permanent stream creature.
Pricing ranges from 100-500g.


#483: Cariad Agaori


Based on the wildtype coloration of a black-winged lovebird, also called the Abyssinian lovebird (Agapornis taranta), the Cariad Agaori is a permanent shop creature.
Shop pricing is 2500g.


#484: Laska Agaori


Based on the lutino mutation of a peach-faced lovebird (Agapornis roseicollis), the Laska Agaori is a permanent stream creature.
Pricing ranges from 100-500g.

Based on the blue mutation of a masked lovebird (Agapornis personatus), the Rakkaus Agaori is a permanent shop creature.
Shop pricing is 2500g.


#572: Cinta Agaori


Based on the wildtype coloration of a peach-faced lovebird (Agapornis roseicollis), the Cinta Agaori is a hybrid creature obtained by breeding a Laska Agaori and a Rakkaus Agaori.
Pricing ranges from 300-3000g.


#573: Dragoste Agaori


Based on the blue mutation of a Fischer's lovebird (Agapornis fischeri), the Dragoste Agaori is a hybrid creature obtained by breeding a Cariad Agaori and a Rakkaus Agaori.

#574: Armastus Agaori


Based on the wildtype coloration of a Madagascar lovebird, also called the grey-headed lovebird (Agapornis canus), the Armastus Agaori is a hybrid creature obtained by breeding a Laska Agaori and a Liefde Agaori.

#604: Western Cyan Psittarx


Based on the wildtype coloration of a Spix's macaw (Cyanopsitta spixii), the Western Cyan Psittarx is a retired quest creature.
Pricing ranges from 80-150k.

Based on the wildtype coloration and blue mutation of a budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus), the Gamilara Phoenix is a permanent stream creature.
Pricing ranges from 250-700g.


#973: Jubilant Cockatoo


Based on the wildtype coloration of a Major Mitchell's cockatoo, also called the Leadbeater's cockatoo or the pink cockatoo (Lophochroa leadbeateri), the Jubilant Cockatoo is a retired 3-shard donation creature.

Based on the wildtype coloration of a red-tailed black cockatoo, also called the Banksian or Banks' black cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus banksii), the Wailing Cockatoo is a retired 5-shard donation creature.

Based on the wildtype coloration of a budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus), the Keeatl is a permanent streamborn creature.

#1093: Weiroatl


Based on the wildtype coloration of a cockatiel, also called the quarrion or the weiro (Nymphicus hollandicus), the Weiroatl is a permanent streamborn creature.
Pricing ranges from 300-1000g.


#1094: Clouded Keeatl


Based on the pied mutation of a budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus), the Clouded Keeatl is a retired 3-shard donation creature.

Presumably based on the emerald pearl mutation of a cockatiel, also called the quarrion or the weiro (Nymphicus hollandicus), the Pearled Weiroatl is a retired 5-shard donation creature.

thanks for the suggestion! i do believe that's a kingfisher, although i'm not quite as knowledgeable on other birds as i am with parrots
perhaps a second opinion is in order? i'll ask someone to help me determine the species ^^

The alcelon is indeed a kingfisher. It looks like it was based on the common kingfisher.

There are a few creatures that don't look like any parrot I recognize, but their heads look parrot-y to me:

They do look rather parrot-like, but as you said, I’m not sure I recognize them as a specific species… their flared head/neck feathers remind me a little of those harpy eagles though. They’re very cool-looking, whatever they are! I’ve never seen those creatures before this, thank you for sharing
oh! And the avarna hatchlings definitely have very hookbill-esque beaks, I would definitely call them parrots, but the adult’s beak is way different, I don’t know what happened there! Lol

This is a good list! However, seeing you say something has a "wild type mutation" drives me the tiniest bit crazy, as by definition, wild type is the default, and therefore is not a mutation.

true! Would wildtype coloration be better terminology? (I think in this case I really am using the word ‘mutation’ the way I would ‘coloration’ so it’d probably make more sense to change it for clarification anyways, whoops)

Yeah, I think saying coloration would be good! To be honest you saying "mutation" does get the idea across, I'm just a bit sensitive because I once had aspirations to be geneticist (didn't work out because I didn't want to get a PhD, but my new field pays better )
