Where do we claim our personal achievements prizes?

As for 25 generations target, i think we all played it wrongly, including me. We shouldn't have tried to use Cinnebar as 25th gen. Maybe its easier to use only swallowtail x swallowtail all the way till 25th gen.

I also noticed that too late. So I decided to try to get some of the other prizes.

I have tried the swallowtail breeding at the start of the second week. Then they failed to breed and I lost track of who was who and focused on the breed 25 of each.

And I knew it - the Swallowtail x Swallowtail breeding was a lower success rate than Swallowtail x Monarch or Swallowtail x Ulysses. And that's why none of us got to 25th gen (a little too high of a bar there - lmao).

But man, those of you who bred hundreds of Cinnabars, that's some dedication. Now go get some well deserved sleep.

Wow, looking at the stats, the higher generation fish really screwed me hard By which I mean my ulysses/birdwing pairs really fucked me, and then as an extra fuck you my cinnabar pairs hated me too.

Also, I don't think starting with swallowtails actually would have been a viable plan for getting to gen 25. Given how low their starting generation is and how low the success rate for breeding a species with itself is, bootstrapping yourself by getting to a higher generation fish first seems more viable. Especially since cinnabars can only breed with themselves anyway.

Crazy how no one reached 25th gen, my highest was 15 which was my personal goal for myself.

Man, I'm incredibly tilted about my tree nymphs, actually. I did 112 breedings (give or take 3 or so, due to recording errors), and ended up with 58. The expected number of successes is 67 ish. There's like, a 5% chance of failing as hard or harder than I did.

The problem with going with a higher gen/variation, though, is the amount of base creatures you'd need at that point if you were trying to avoid inbreeding. I'm guessing those that got the furthest for gens inbred. Which is why I said during the competition even that goal especially would be much easier for those who didn't mind inbreeding.
