I decide to give up the 25th gen goal. I bred 4 pairs of swallowtail fish today and got only one egg. I don't think I would have the luck to breed a 25th gen one before 6th August.

literally same, seems impossible but i definitely should have started earlier, spent too much time only going after the 25 of each.

I got so many refusals.. I am back at catching fishes from the Stream because there is nothing to breed anymore...

Updated predictions at how successful breeding for each species is:

Monarch x Monarch: 90% success rate, with about a 4:1 ratio of swallowtail to monarch, which comes out to ~72% chance of Swallowtail

Monarch x Swallowtail: 75% success rate at getting Ulysses

Swallowtail x Ulysses: ~60% success rate at getting Birdwing

Ulysses x Birdwing: 50% success rate at getting Tree Nymph

Birdwing x Tree Nymph: ~60% success rate at getting Sunset

Tree Nymph x Sunset: 50% success rate at getting Buckeye

Sunset x Buckeye: 50% success rate at getting Cinnabar

Major caveat on the last three, as I have so little data that extremely bad luck in the case of the Buckeye and Cinnabar chances could be affecting my guesses, and extremely good luck (or bad, but I think it more likely to be good) could be affecting my guess at Sunset success rate.

Same. It is much more challenging than I expected. Anyone who has a large amount of fish still can try, obviously not me.

When will we get the personal prizes? I thought that it would be right after completing the personal challenge but I completed like 4 or 5 of them already but I got nothing so far.

You will get the personal prizes once the competition is finished.

Anybody else feels like time is flying?
Feel like yesterday that it was monday and today we are already at the second weekend.

I think I'm starting to lose steam now. I've had so many fails the last 2 days that my brain is like: "Is it over yet?"

And I'm worrying too much over these fish and ignoring life stuff I need to get done (clearly I have zero self-control - lol).

I wanted to hit the 25 tree nymphs at least, but even that isn't seeming possible right now. Exhaustion could also be talking (and no, this isn't due to the fish - not sleeping well some nights and just being wiped in general for no apparent reason... oh, and kids).

I think I'm super close to my splat point.

I really want to know if anyone feels like they are on track to meeting the 25th gen goal!

I got stopped at 2nd gen on my first try so I started up another and also got stopped at 2nd gen. I thought ok no problem, my original try is about to come off cooldown and I'll keep going. I had a few good breedings and then got stopped again on gen 5. At this point I was like ok there is no way I'm going to meet the 25th gen goal, but I've already committed mentally so let's keep this rolling and see how far I get. My second try came off of cooldown today and of course the breeding failed and no progress was made. I'm currently waiting on my gen 5 try to cooldown in like 7 hours.

(I'm breeding Swallowtail x Swallowtail for the 25th gen goal).

The last few days have been pretty rough on the breeding front and I haven't been able to be on much so everything has slowed down. On the plus side I've met the Swallowtail and Ulysses 25 personal goals, a little over halfway to Birdwing and have 6 tree nymphs. I don't have much confidence that I'll make 25 tree nymphs, but I'll definately give it a good effort. I'm really hoping I can get 10 Sunsets and 10 Buckeye for the parentless agaori pairs; no way I'll manage 10 Crimson. Now all I need is to find the breeding luck faeries and make a deal with them
