Ilescent Hydrodrake - 3 shard
Image
This dark egg is still and silent until placed in water, where it begins to hum.

General Description
Spoiler
Ilescent hydrodrakes are found mostly in the north, inhabiting the lower slopes of mountains and the wilds outside cities in packs of 4-5 adults and up to a dozen hatchlings. Although large, they can be quite delicate and always need to be close to a body of water in order to recharge. During the winter they travel further south, but unfortunately this often means they come into close contact with cities, where their size and fierce appearance can cause some panic. However, they're not generally aggressive and mostly seem interested in the electricity within buildings, any areas of water, and shiny bits of garbage.

Male/Female Ilescent Hydrodrake

Hatchling Description
Spoiler
Hatchling ilescent hydrodrakes carry their own little light with them everywhere they go, attached to the end of their tail. This light is strongest when the hatchling is in water, whether a shallow puddle or the deep ocean. Although they can't use their electrical magic until they've become adults, hatchlings can still charge the light for energy - which they need to be playful and rambunctious, preferably with siblings and other hydrodrake hatchlings.

Adult Male /Adult Female

Adult Description
Spoiler
Adult ilescent hydrodrakes are capable of absorbing water and converting it to electricity, which they use in a variety of ways from catching prey to aiding magi in lighting homes. Their whole bodies tend to shimmer in the sunlight, but their magic is concentrated in the ball of light they carry at the end of their tails. This light is fiercely defended, and its brightness - or lack thereof - can tell a magi a lot about the hydrodrake's health.

It seems everyone's paying attention to the bananas and forgot about these....

I'll edit and add egg descriptions/images as we get them. I'm out of shards so I'll grab some later on.
