How does one get the brown Eshmeri? I saw where breeding the pink to the black will sometimes give you an albino, but nothing about the brown. Thanks! :-D

When you first buy it it will be the color that is pictured in Remy's Inn. It's after the first click that'll change color. The egg will hatch the color that it changes to after the first click.

It doesn't even need a click, in case someone wants 0% eggs. Refreshing the Keep page/tab after buying an Eshmeri egg will also show which color it will end up being.

Okay, cool. I never tried refreshing. Since I don't collect 0% shop eggs, I just clicked them, and noticed they changed after I clicked.

Well, that's interesting. Tonight, Remy's Inn is showing the Eshmeri egg in brown, rather than black. It's been black since it initially appeared, so I'm now wondering that because it's nighttime, it changed color?

I'm pretty sure that time is NOT a factor. Yesterday morning I bought a brown egg that turned black in my Keep. This morning, I bought a brown egg that stayed brown.

So the only thing I'm thinking, is that the black critter isn't as common as the brown.. because I have about twice as many browns as I do blacks (7 brown - 3 black).

The shop shows the brown egg for half a day and the black egg for half a day, and as stated earlier, the color of the egg shown in the shop has no correlation of which color the creature will end up being.

Both variants are in theory equally common and it's really just totally randomly determined which color it will be.

I know I know, necroposting and all that, but I missed the valentines day event and being gifted a Heartthrob Eshmeri the description made me cry... I still miss Taliesen, I couldnt believe when I read that update, he'd stopped replying to me so I had no idea... I just thought he was ignoring me, or I did something wrong... He was one of the very few people who regularly talked to me on here, made me feel welcome, and encouraged everything I did with soft words and a sharp sense of humour. I'd never have attempted making my own pet site without his encouragement which was a lot of fun with no regrets. I'll always miss you Talie, I wish you could have stayed around a little longer... This post can be deleted and/or the thread archived or whatever, I just had to type something...
