Arkenian Ice Worm

Adult description:
Spoiler
Many people are understandably terrified when they first meet an Arkenian ice worm. Their sharp teeth, enormous mandibles and deadly hunting skills make them easy to fear, yet when raised by a magi they are in fact among the most gregarious denizens of the sea. The members of the Society of the Trident who have spent time researching Arkenian ice worms report that the worms have elaborate rituals for greeting their magi, greeting other visiting magi, as well as visiting another worm's territory. While the rituals may vary a bit from ice worm to ice worm, they all seem to have an emphasis on the offering of food as a gift to the host ice worm. The researchers do state that wild Arkenian ice worms will not accept visitors who do not know the proper ritual and should therefore be avoided whenever possible, as when fully grown they are nearly thirty feet in length and can easily amputate any appendage.

AH! D:

They're really pretty but dang guys. lol I feel like these and the Filchers should have been swapped. These feel more like a spooky creature and the Filchers felt more like harvest creatures. Either way though these are well done.

Ahhhh. Yeah, Not my creature either, it seems xD Stunning colours, but I guess i'm just not a bug person.

They look a bit like a mantis/centipede mix, which is simultaneously the most badass and terrifying thing I've thought about in a while...

Jfc.
Idk what I was expecting but not that.

Actually, it kinda does remind me a bobbit worm (esp with the iridescent sheen on them). Just with, really big tooth filled jaws and punchy lookin claws.

Looks like it's got the clobberin' claws of a mantis shrimp, because apparently being a living beartrap like a bobbit worm wasn't enough pain delivery potential.
I absolutely love these guys!
