IF.. and I mean IF.. the site did the RP like it used to, then yes, I could get behind that. But the site RP and the stories just aren't here anymore. I can't even remember the last time Master Belmos, or Thane, or any of the NPC's actually posted as part of a storyline. Admin is barely active; Rosehill keeps things going, but I don't remember the last time Morgaln or Madd posted. The days of active RP are long gone, so why even worry about it anymore. Even the player RP is pretty dead, and I don't know if it's lack of interest or just that no one has time anymore.

So yes, I'd prefer just releases and access to creatures that I need/want. And even on a limited income, I still donate to the site to get new creatures when they release something I like. I'm not saying that my way is the only way, I just wish that folk didn't get all upset when someone has a differing opinion. I'm being very calm and reasonable, because there is no benefit to being a drama llama.

NPCs no longer posting != site lore no longer existing, and tbh as a site writer I think it's rather hurtful of you to imply that all the legends, quests, descriptions, etc. don't matter.

Also if we're judging upset-ness by who has been posting many paragraphs about the same issue and refusing to let it go, well......

@Starsight the black market did open on the 15th. You will be able to buy eggs until Thursday/Friday (depending where you live)

Mysterious Bag - 870 gold
--- You receive one random item
* Gender-change potion - changes the gender of a creature without offspring
* Breeding cooldown potion - removes the wait so you can breed again
* Dusky Potion - changes a Tenabre Fox egg into a Dusk Bunny egg, can only be used on eggs OR changes an adult Nhirudo into a purple version
* Fine-tuning glass - use on frozen creatures under 5% to change % to under 2%. Several glasses can be used on the same creature to get the desired %
* Breeding Restoration Potion - restores the breedings on breeding-limited creatures such as tinsel wyrms
* Box of chocolates - gives a random growth boost to eggs and hatchlings

I think the dusky potion description in the first post needs a slight update. If I remember correctly, it now also changes a torveus dragon egg (either variety) into a purple torveus dragon.

Feedback for Mysterious Bag -
Things I'd like to see for improvements to it
- Bag has a chance to give 1-3 items at once per bag - for the price of 840g lets spice it up a bit more to add gamble and fun
- Let me buy BULK BAGS that can be in bundles of 5, 10, 20, 25, 30 or BLANK SPACE FILL IN THE NUMBER and I press submit and boom TONS OF GOLD SPENT ALL AT ONCE so I don't have to click that button over and over again (my carpal tunnel wrist cannot take it)
- Consider moving the Buy another button to the middle of the screen for slightly faster clicking so I can at least just keep my mouse in the same place to spam click to buy
- Consider removing confirmation yes/no buttons for speed buying (maybe make this a setting that u need to set in control panel that works for black market, or maybe all gold shops? doni shop excluded if possible)

Phrasing of Permanent Creatures vrs Limited Availability

I understand both sides. But I agree that the phrasing that I think most players are familiar with when it comes to the words permanent creature means that this creature can be available throughout the entire year, every single day via an easy to get method...aka the stream or buying from the gold shops.

Black Market recolors are what I personally call Limited Availability - because the Black Market shop itself appears at random intervals now. The shop is not there all the time, and even it's inventory is randomized so again, if I am wanting to buy more of a specific creature I can't unless it is up in the shops inventory.

And even though the creature is permanent it is only in the sense that it will be a permanent part of the shops inventory rotation. If the creature is breedable and if I buy enough/hatch enough of them to get multiple pairs of them and then breed them - is that in a sense permanent? Sure but it's not easier versus streamcatching them for free or buying them in the gold shops. But am grateful I can breed them if I want to.

The wording is tricky, but I don't think anyone is trying to mislead folks. We know how the current Black Market system works, the new stuff is here, go grab what you can while it lasts, then they will be gone and will return who knows when. And just hope that you are ready and available to catch it when it returns.

P.S. I thought this discussion was very interesting since it questioned what certain words/phrases we use in the game mean to people gameplay wise. It's cool to learn new things from one another.
