I love dragons, so a rewin dragon would have to be my obvious choice! But I also like the puvia. Mainly anything with wings that I could fly on, because I have always wanted to fly! Lol I'm still like a kid

Something that can carry you in flight but isn't too aggressive

-A pegasus sounds like a good one but like unicorns, they also have very high standards before you can actually have one as a companion and I honestly don't think I meet those insanely high standards of goodness and purity and such.

-A gryphon sounds even cooler, they are cooler, have fewer requirements, and they even feed themselves!
but again with the undefined standards!
kind "enough"
how kind is that? I don't mind being kind but what is their standard?
Is it like a lot of love and affection? Borderline worship?
I'm willing to befriend one but I'm not worshiping them, I have things to do, internets to watch, chairs to spin in!

Plus there's just life, I have a family, I have dogs, we all get annoyed with eachother sometimes, even the dogs growl at us on occasion and once in awhile i'll get annoyed with my family or dogs and might even have an argument, that's not kind but that's life!
So are normal relationships below them? Are gryphon keepers just in "relatives are visiting so act perfect" but permanently and with a gryphon as the relative?

Plus gryphons can hunt in magistreamland but here that would be poaching and they would probably put it to sleep D:
I can't feed I predator of that size, and if it tries to feed itself it will be illegal hunting at best or angry WV farmers armed with guns at worst!

-a puvia might work but their HUGE, I don't know how to care for a bird that big. What do they even eat?!
They would be a cool bird to have though, beautiful feathers, seemingly nice personality, but it LEAVES D:
I'd miss it :t-:(

-A manticore might be cool, a lion with dragon-wings that is large enough to carry a rider in flight but a good personality might be awesome but again, how do I feed a giant lion?

-i'd probably enjoy a Niveus Enox they look a bit dragon-like and are able to carry a rider but aren't as demanding of perfection as the unicorns and pegasi and are a bit lazy from what I understand so they don't need as much exercise, and they are herbivores so they're probably easier to feed then a manticore.
I know a horse isn't cheap but if you look at the grocery store which is more expensive? the veggie section or the meat area?
They seem a bit down to earth, require reasonable space for a horse-ish animal, but are still really nice
companions.
Of course, horse care isn't cheap and I don't own a field, and I'm not by any means rich so I couldn't afford a horse unless it didn't need a field and a stall, and 200$ a month (minimum!) in food.

But these are all unrealistic wishes, I've always wanted a pet that I could fly with but they are always big and expensive, and not to mention mythical.
This whole section is why I went with "normal crow but with an extra leg/more than the normal hatred for humanity" and "tiny giraffe that can't be harder than a miniature pony."
There's so much stuff on this site that can't feasibly be looked after unless you run a literal zoo. :derr:

If I did get something that can't be cared for realistically, it'd be one of the dinosaurs though. Tsaanguir are potentially manageable but super hard. Raznak may work if I have enough cash for a huge (and strong) enclosure, but probably not. The rex or spinos would be so damn cool, but so damn unsuitable for pethood.

Possibly a pygmy phoenix, any colour. Not too big and hard to deal with, but still a cute feathery little friend.
I would be worried about fires, though.

I should be doing assignments right now.

Dodo, because I've always wanted a dodo, the ones from here can talk, and how hard can it possibly be to care for a largish flightless pigeon that eats mostly seeds and fruits? In terms of unrealistic options, gryphons are up there (obviously), but I don't think I would be qualified to take care of either a lion or an eagle, much less a giant version of the two smushed together. Same with dragons, though pygmy crystalwings or some of the smaller wyrms might be all right. I'd also be on board with carrying around an anaugi on my shoulders, but iguanas are difficult enough to handle without being able to breathe fire, plus I'm pyrophobic, so yeah, dodos all the way.

*Is unable to decide on just one pet, so here's an annoyingly long list*

Realistically: probably any of the smaller cat creatures, a forest imp, one of the numerous Pygmy CWs/Pygmy Gemdragons, one of the Talvar, one of the ravens, kamar rabbits, any jackalopes, any dismots, a Keep Rat, a Tenvaes Gryphon, an Earth Ferret, a Velox,a Lusine Moth, a Sphingid, a Stoat, or a Candle Ayoti.

Unrealistically: A Peryton, a Direcore, any Kirin, any wolf-based, fox-based, horse-based, deer-based, dragon-based, ampithere-based, or gryphon-based creature

Oh goodness hard to choose but I narrowed it down to these:
ALL the Jackalopes!
Calidim
Chocolate Viyasant
Ziraafa
Probably some Duckits...
Okay I had to stop looking through my keep so the list stays small.

If I could only pick 1 and that was it would probably have to be a Jackalope, they are my weakness.
Second choice, since they sound very friendly and easy to care for would be a Calidim.

For me it'd be one of the following:

Kaeran <3
Any of the Phoenixes we have
Any Arkai
Anything that's a bird really XD

Since the Osath looks like a Canadian Goose, technically I have one or them already XP

Probably the simplest one here, but a Koi would be nice. I could breath underwater, and get healing and relaxation charms cast on me whenever I need it. Plus, who knows how far their healing abilities go? If I had one of these Koi, it could literally be the cure for cancer.
