Hi all, I've missed playing and catching new things here for a little bit.

So funny story, got a Hurricane with my hubby's name on it, coming to hit us in less than 24 hrs here in Florida.

Nothing makes you feel more alive than a hurricane knocking on your door soon.

But for real....yeah I'm kinda trying not to think about it too much...we're in an area that I am hoping will stay safe and we are already prepared as best we can.

Hopefully, I'll be back soon.

Yes it's true, I saw the article. I couldn't believe he was only 59, I thought he was older, but anyway RIP to him. His music will live on.

And I'm alive and well. My family and I got extremely lucky that we didn't get hit as hard by the hurricane in our area, and I mean really lucky. There's over 3 million people with no power, and the devastation it has caused has been awful.

Glad to hear you're alright! It feels like there's been a plethora of natural disasters the past few years. It must be terrifying, and very relieving to be one of the lucky ones. Hope your community recovers swiftly, and your friends and acquaintances, if anyone has been hit hard.

for my part i've been so, so extremely busy this past month—more so than i've ever been!—and it's strange and difficult to adjust to. but it's also extremely gratifying, to be tugged out of my inertia and to have people to see and things to do and responsibilities to maintain. i'm still figuring it all out, but i'm excited to keep going.

Looks like my new medication isn't working. I was told to get off the steroids after I finished my last infusion, and just a few days after I taper off completely, all my symptoms come back. Ugh. Back on Prednisone again I suppose.

On the upside, my next doctor apt is in 3 weeks. Finally got assigned to a university, and one of the top ones in the US to boot , and I'm impressed how quickly I'm able to get in. I expected not to be able to get in for 3-4 months at the very least, definitely not within a month.

In other news, weather is getting cold quick here and it's really slowing down repairs and remodeling on the house. Also still haven't heard back yet from the state regarding this stupid lien that's apparently on the home. Ah, bureaucracy.

I really should stop catching the Prism Foxes and breed more creatures for the Christmas giveaway (although I already have nearly 38k creatures for the giveaway + a few thousands hidden in trades)

yeah, i think i'll leave it unnamed and offer it up for trade once it hatches! it's honestly kind of funny that i managed to pick up a pink one first thing, though.

& wow!! so many creatures for the giveaway, very impressive. i've only been active again for a little while following a long period away from the site, so to me that seems like an enormous stretch of time it must have taken to build up that cache

Just curious. Why didn't you want a Pink Rose Imp? Do you already have one?

As for the creatures I have gathered, well, this is the 13th year we are having the Christmas giveaway (Countdown To Christmas) and all creatures not gifted that year is left over for the following year. There are also new shop/ event/ stream etc creatures that get released, so I get them also. End of the year, I have a crap ton of creatures for gifting and I still keep collecting. It's a hoarding issue
