Why is my power bill over double from last month? I didn't use anything more than I did last month and it looks like the rate charge is still the same. I hope they're not just making 'an estimate' on my power usage like the other power company at my previous address admitted to doing if they don't come out that month to check the meter.

I know the feeling. True friends are far and few between it seems. Most people just want to use you as a step-stool to get what they want. Greed is rampant and it's truly sad.

My dad nearly gave us a literal heart attack today. I overheard him choking on his lunch and gasping for air, so I was quick to go check on him. I asked if he was okay and he shook his head, so I immediately performed the Heimlich on him to dislodge the food. Scared us all half to death, but thank the gods he's okay and breathing normally! We even double checked his oxygen levels, and all that jazz was good too.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need my stress dose of hydrocortisone...
