oooof the seasonal depression needs to just not. I thought I'd be better this year, having the BF and all so I'm not alone 24/7 but nah, it is here anyway.

Well, my mother is making sure to leave me in a constant state of panic and dread. I'm already getting a bit seasonal depression but she's making sure any waking moment is a nightmare. I'd go to my dad's but, no electronics/phone allowed and my mom would put my cats out in the snow.
Not to mention I feel like the walls are closing in on meeting up with my friend before they move all the way to NZ... I feel so stupid for not like, establishing a "let's hang out normally" with a friend (one of my closest!) I knew for YEARS and lived here for YEARS (since they moved away from home at 19 so... 6 years) and now I have until late February and it feels like I'm losing a connection I should've already had but didn't and UUGGHH
I'm so alone outside of my online friends. Everyone sensible is getting the hell outta dodge from Seattle if they don't live in the old homes in the west side. Even then they're tearing all those down to make McMansions with the horrible infrastructure that'll collapse after maybe a decade.

On a lighter note... gorgeous winter Amagnaes! ...And of course I'm 2-eggs locked with these stupid Mammoth snails. (I really love the Mammoth Snails, don't get me wrong, but ohh my god they grow SLOW)

Another covid test tomorrow

Yeah, I'm just gonna say it's covid since my mom tested positive, and I haven't gone anywhere these past few weeks to make me think it's something like the flu. I feel too sick today to go out and buy a test, and the ick is already settling in my chest. I have a gross cough that will make people at the store look at me like:


Welp, after 3 years of being cautious, it finally got me.

Really annoyed with Gamestop right now. Not only did they botch my order of two items by leaving out one, but now they won't refund/replace said item until their 'investigation' is done, which will take about two weeks. What the hell is there to investigate? I never had any issues with orders before, and the item they forgot was the cheaper of the two ($25 value). They seriously better fix it, otherwise they've essentially stolen money from me.

On the other hand, if that happens, I'm glad it wasn't something more expensive, like a console.

Still annoying though. And so much for getting this before Christmas. It was supposed to be a present.

Starting to feel sick. Not sure if it's just seasonal stuff + lack of sleep + stress but regardless, right now is probably the worst possible time.

We are putting teak flooring to our kitchen, TV room, the general ironing area, my bedroom and son's bedroom starting tomorrow. I'm dreading the process. Lots of cleaning and pulling furniture and so on. I love how my house will look after it is done, but thinking of all the work involved drives me nuts

Been hunting for The Mighty Nein: The nine eyes of Lucien for over a month. Black Friday didn't help at all since they raised the prices a week before and then lowered them to the initial ones as a 'discount'
It's too expensive to ask for the book as a Christmas gift too.
At this rate I'll have to wait at least another half a year to get it...
