Anyone else been getting "Anxiety dreams?" Last night I dreamed that the editor of a journal disagreed with my paper review and I would never get to review another paper again. So stupid, but very emblematic of the generalized anxiety swimming in my subconscious about how all of this is going to affect my career.

Cases in my state have soared to 234 [139 in my county and 17 in Pinal county (part of Phoenix metro)]. It jumped yesterday with 82 new cases, and some guy died from ingesting chloroquine phosphate because he read an online article that said it protects against the virus. His wife did the same thing, but she's expected to survive. A sad loss, but nonetheless a very dumb and very much avoidable idea.

Anyway, I was planning on going shopping again at the end of the month, but I might postpone just to be on the safe side. I don't need to risk myself or my mom... I'm also wondering about my upcoming dentist appointment this week. I haven't received a confirmation message or call, so I'll probably have to call to check and see if they're even open.

Anyway, good luck to you. There's one in my office now. However, they had most of us go home a couple weeks ago and I have been work from home out of the office for years, so I'm safe. Hopefully, s/he didn't infect anyone else before showing symptoms. Hopefully, s/he'll be fine.

My team lead's family keeps having gatherings. As in, his family and his GF's family, up to 10 members, traveling to each other's houses. Dudes, come on. Skype your GF or something, jeez.

On a side note : someone dropped off a pregnant female calico cat to my house. >.> i mean i don't mind and all but seriously why my house. It's no different then any others around me. farms.

Sounds like you have gotten the "Cat Whisperer" reputation and they know you will take care of any dropped off?

i would rather they took them somewhere else though. there's several no kill shelters near me. why not take them there where they can get medical help if they need it?

Ignorance, maybe. Don't know they are no-kill, or they are concerned they'll be fined/questioned/whatever.

Last night I dreamt that a "famous" Youtuber lured me into a religious cult against my better judgement by purchasing my dream self a much needed new car. By the time I realized it, I was in too deep, and afraid to get caught attempting to leave because the people that displeased the leader seemed to disappear...

Sounds cheesy, but I woke up uneasy and jittery. I hope for a better night :c

My state's governor has issued a "stay at home" order that comes into effect tomorrow (or rather today since its almost 4am ) at 5pm. My boyfriend is already saying he will not abide by it. Though like I don't know why he would want to leave the house? We have no money until the first and all non food selling stores have to shut down by then.

On the other hand I read a Rolling Stone article that make it seems like the President is more concerned about how the stock markets will look come election time...rather than how many people are left alive to vote for him. Makes me very worried. At the risk of getting too political here...I don't think we could have had a WORSE president for a Pandemic crisis.

I'm not too sure, we got the stay at home order too but at least I've saved up some incense in pokemon go and I have animal crossing.
