So I arranged all my stuff for the CTC giveaway next month. I have collected 31,000+ creatures for gifting. I think I went a bit overboard

Mask wearing where I live is now mandatory in indoor public places, which I'm super happy about. Especially with me being in the higher risk category. But I have a feeling inforcing it at the library I work at is going to be an absolute nightmare. Patrons can be savage at times.

That's been going on in my state for... months now, and it's hard for me to imagine otherwise. Glad you can feel a bit safer now. I hope the enforcement goes well; I had to learn to be more assertive very quickly when that became part of my job earlier this year.

I am lucky enough to work from home, and I spend a lot of time thinking about folks who do not get to do that. Especially folks dealing with.. *shudder* customers in person. Sending my strength and good wishes!

New Hampshire just made masks mandatory, but I doubt that'll stop people. You still see them in stores that require masks without masks on. As someone who worked retail, I understand not wanting to enforce, but it's just ridiculous.

My dad was saying in Arizona he went into a store wearing a mask and the owner berated him for wearing a mask! So my dad just walked right back out.

Again? We are going to complain about the f-word in "Fairytale of New York" song AGAIN!?
Don`t like the song, then change the channel. And no, music should NOT be censored. Learn in what kind of context the f-word was said, by who and why before you whine. There are a lot more, a lot WORSE things being said in songs that doesn't have 2 fictional characters insulting each other after a night at a pub. Because we all know nobody ever said the f-word after they got drunk (or worse).

Leave the song ALONE. Or change the channel snowflake


People will ALWAYS get offended by something. ALWAYS. But being offended by fictional characters is pathetic.

i think i might take a brief break from MS until i finish with my exams... i really want to enjoy thanksgiving with my mom but these looming deadlines and the pressure to apply to jobs are really killing me.

On a bright note, I don't have to work again until Monday the 30th! Taking an extended break from work to stay home and relax, get chores done around the house, and catch up on sleep.

I've been hoarding vacation, but was realizing I'm not at my best and really needed the break.
