I've been doing it once or twice a day (It's still going to hurt something awful when I can finally go back and get on the pole, though. My skin will not be used to it anymore)

I need, like, a super gentle yoga to get started. I lost a lot of muscle when I was in ICU years ago, and never worked to get it back, so I'm like a limp noodle.

At least with a step counter, I feel more accountable and I have small goals I can set up for myself. It encourages me to move a little more.

Maybe I'll work my way up to the video you posted, lol.

Since I'm staying home now to do college work I finally have an excuse to set up my own gaming desk! Bought the desk, speakers, keyboard, mousepad with wrist rest, a keyboard wrist rest and a monitor stand. This will help me so much with homework too. Been doing it on my bed for the past week and a half. The bed has an indent on where my fat butt has been sitting..

Now I just need a new mattress..It's about 3 years old now...and so many butt imprints on it..

Three years...that's a young mattress...when we moved last year we finally replaced a mattress that was older than it should have been (approaching 40) and two of my boys are sleeping on mattresses bought in the late 80s. Those are mattresses that need replacing. We were looking at it before COVID-19.

I want to cross-stitch but I'm honestly sick to fuck of watching stuff.

I've had to work overtime for several months now. I want to get back to cross-stitching/sewing in general but by the time I'm done I'm so tired I can't see straight. I'm also two years overdue for an eye exam and know my prescription has changed. I'm worried when I finally get to go I'll need bifocals.

Maybe with all this quarantine stuff going on, I should try and pick it up finally. I do have the energy to finally do it after all.

I've knit more in the past three weeks than I've had in the last several years combined, I think. It's a good way to channel nervous energy and there isn't much else to do.

Unfortunately, I've been using that as free license to buy pretty yarn, and uh. I definitely don't knit quickly enough to justify the 10 skeins of sock yarn I've acquired since quarantine started.

Pick up one of the cheap kid's kits from your local craft store and give it a go. Dimensions is my fave brand. Start with something easy and see if you like it. I find it very relaxing. Mostly. Occasionally I want to break something when I realize I've miscounted one goddamn tiny 18-count section for the third time in a row.
