My grocery delivery is delayed. -.- I placed the fucking order three days ago. I know everyone and their dog is ordering grocery delivery, but it's like, 22 items.

Pick up one of the cheap kid's kits from your local craft store and give it a go. Dimensions is my fave brand. Start with something easy and see if you like it. I find it very relaxing. Mostly. Occasionally I want to break something when I realize I've miscounted one goddamn tiny 18-count section for the third time in a row.

You know, I've been wanting to learn to cross-stitch for a while now. Hearing you guys talk about it encouraged me to ebay a few kits. We'll see how well I can do it

Be warned, you pick up one little kit thinking it would be a nice present for your grandma and then next thing you know you're obsessively checking Amazon for new/discounted kits, you've got thread everywhere, your desk is covered in needles, you've got 14 projects on the go and you're fighting the urge to start another one, and everyone in your life gets cross stitches for gifts. Everyone.

Unrelated: I knocked an empty (why) cup out of my fridge, picked it up and tried to toss it on the counter, it bounced off onto the floor again, so I was like, fuck it, now it lives there.

Finally shipping an absurd number of rocks to yourself pays off! Years back, I saved the toilet paper I used to wrap the rocks for transport, so now I have a sack full of [slightly grainy] TP!

Spent the night with two kittens curled up next to me so couldn't get as comfortable as I usually do. Also now my allergies are flaring more because fur under the nose all night. I didn't sleep well, but wouldn't trade it for anything. Just wish their sibling had joined in too. Now they are zooming across the house making me wonder how three such small kittens (7 weeks old tomorrow) are making so much noise.
