I think part of it is how dynamic the poses are. They're not just beautiful, they're spirited and wild and glorious! They look like the kind of creature that's too wild to be tamed and too strong/fast/brave to be cowed, but if you treat them with kindness and respect they might come to you as a friend.
I want to get at least one more pair of each, but I need more turkey muppets...
