Doesn't 12/12/12 count next year? Well, it isn't my birthday.

Have to point this out -

A palindrome can be spelled exactly the same way backwards as it can forwards. Therefore, 11/11/11 was the last palindrome of the century because 12/12/12 backwards is 21/21/21 - it doesn't count.

Some of us don't write our dates "backwards" thanks.
Most places in Europe use DD/MM/YY so 21/11/12 would be using that.

Most of the world (meaning Europe, South America, Africa, Australia and most of Asia with the exception of China, Japan and a few others) write dates in the order day/month/year, which makes 21/11/12 a perfectly valid date.

Or you can even think of it as YY/MM/DD or YY/DD/MM, the first of which is how the Chinese people does it.

Those are not the last palindromes - if you write dd/mm/yy there are plenty more - the 21/11/12 for example, then 13/11/31 or 26/11/62 (I don't even want to know how old I'll be on that day ...) just to count a few.
