Same here. I'll never forget when my 6 year old daughter came running down the hall to tell me there was a new singer on...he was in a castle and kinda scary looking but she still liked him. Turned on mTV - it was the release of Anything for Love. She still loves to listen to him to this day.

I'm in a awful mood today. I was supposed to have my date last night. It was an absolute disaster of a night.

First, the guy never showed up.
Then I started talking to this other girl at the bar who was also stood up.... BY THE SAME FUCKING GUY.
He invited TWO women to a bar and then ditched both of us. We waited.. for hours.. cause he kept saying he was on the way and then after almost 2 hours just stopped texting.

We ended up getting drunk together and joined a table of other expats who invited us over. That was okay, I did have lots of laughs with them. I texted the dude later and called him a dick for this. Lol he never read my text.

Today my mood is shit because I think the emotions I suppressed with beer yesterday are finally hitting me. I'm angry. I'm depressed. I've cried. I want to stab him.

So when I joined the table of expats that night, wasn't thinking much of it. One of the guys got my number so he could make sure I got home because I was reeeeally drunk and I live pretty far from this bar. Taking Grab (the VN Uber) is relatively safe, but there have been increases of robberies right now especially from people alone at night.

Well fast forward a week later and... we're dating. I was not expecting this and it hit me out of no where. This guy is ridiculously amazing. Like last night I went out with my friends and he checked in on me throughout the night then stayed awake until I texted that I was back home. He wasn't going to go to sleep until he knew I was home safe.

I pretty much go to the bar every Friday now and I love everyone there. The owner and his wife are just absolute dolls. All of the patrons are great.

It really is... My slightly messed up brain though is just TRYING to find something wrong with this guy, but ugh... so far he's been perfect.

Currently in a happy and stressful situation. Within the past week, I have been offered two jobs and I am interviewing for a third. The third one is my top choice and I interviewed with two people today and will meet with a third tomorrow. The first job offer I got, I turned down as it was more of a sales position and I don't want to deal with sale goals. I am not a person who is going to push product like that. The second one I received the offer during my interview today. I originally thought they had decided not to offer me the job as I got a generic Indeed rejection notification Saturday around 1am.

Right now, the second job is my second choice. The position is an admin/receptionist roll that I would basically be creating my own way of dealing with organizing, etc. It pays $14 for a start and has commission after a year. The owner said he couldn't exactly offer opportunity for growth from that position but could offer it if I want to try out graphic design portions of the job.

The third job is my top choice. My former coworker just started working there and loves it so she talked me up and gave me some positions to apply to. The one I'm interviewing for is the HR receptionist. I've asked for $15 an hour (luckily, I know that's what she was offered to start and I was her supervisor at her previous job) and there's room to grow. Plus it's paid weekly and is closer to my apartment. Right now I've done a phone screening, an in person interview with the HR assistant and HR director and tomorrow I meet one more person. So far I've been told they like me and I have a really good feeling about it.

So currently I am trying to figure out how to handle this job offer so I don't lose it incase I don't get an offer from this other job. Google seems to say to try and ask for a few days for a decision and I do also want to ask to meet them in person as I only did a phone interview. I'm happy to be in this position but damn! I've been so stressed about job searching and getting the hell out of my current job and now I don't know what to do!

Had seafood for the first time in 20 years. It was actually really good! Was a little scared because last time I had seafood, it was a bad night at Red Lobster... Got a gnarly stomach ache and never touched seafood again.

Now that I've given my system a taste of fish, I'm honestly really excited to try risotto (sp?) and eat crab and lobster again. Pics of those dishes have always made my mouth water..

I'm apparently allergic to the dog I'm fostering. I've never been allergic to a dog before, but if this pup scratches me - hives. I gave him a bath to see if that helped? hives. Ugh! Now they're looking for a new foster... he's been with me for just a week. WTF body.
