I call it a scooter, but it's more like a Vespa? I just don't know what else to call it haha It's definitely been a challenge. I'm basically making circles in my parking garage every day until I am brave enough to test it out on the street.
Well our HR dept emailed today and pretty much things are a go for the vaccine, but we won't know for certain when. It's one of those things where we could get an email this evening to be at the place tomorrow morning. All I know is that it's the AstraZeneca vaccine and while I'd rather get another, I just want vaccinated so I feel safer.

The opposite, actually. We were in the 80s for most of the afternoon because of rain/monsoon. Stayed inside all day too with the AC on... And thanks. I am feeling a little better this morning (knock on wood)
Planned on finally changing my 20+ years old desk but the heatwave reached us too. Got to invest in a portable AC instead. I'd be fine-ish with the heat but there's no way I can keep Spok happy just with ice packs.
Trying to write lore for my dragons of FR. It's been quite difficult because I suffer from horrible brain fog. It's like a mix of my brain feeling like a balloon and my thoughts feeling like a massive traffic jam. It's hard to get the ideas flowing properly
EDIT: I managed to finish my ice rep's bio! I'm pretty satisfied with it all things considered. It's hard to think clearly, but I think I was able to get my ideas written the way I wanted them.

I was able to get my scooter out of our parking garage by myself. I timidly drove around my neighborhood block a few times until I got more confident in driving. Turning corners is STILL a very tricky challenge, but I think I've got the concept of driving in a straight line down pat.

I wish people would understand that when I work from home, I am still working. When I'm attending school lectures, I am still attending lectures. I'm taking both a full-time online course AND managing a full-time remote job. Yes, it's at home. No, that doesn't mean I'm available to do chores at home, run to the store, or continuously speak to you on Discord.
On a second note, the guy I'm seeing is getting frustrated with me. I told him off the bat that I'm INSANELY busy and introverted. Most days I'm working from 6AM-8PM, later on the nights before assignments are due. So realistically we only see each other on the weekends, which is already more than I see anyone I'm not living with. I've only met him in person twice, known him for about 2/3 weeks? He keeps suggesting just coming over and doing his own thing while I work, which I'm fine with, when I know the person better. But when it boils down to it, he's still a stranger in many ways. I'm an extreme introvert, it's VERY rare for me to find someone whos' very presence doesn't drain me. My roommate is the only person I can really think of that doesn't.
He's also worried I'm not into him. Which I am, but I can't decide whether I want a relationship with him after only 2 meetings, and he's kind of..freaking out about it? Saying he doesn't want to get the "I don't want to do this anymore" text because he's been 'tossed aside before'. Like dude, I'm incredibly difficult to be with in a relationship because of my nature and I'm incredibly picky in who I can be in a relationship with. I look at the long-term relationship, and if I don't see us making each other happier than when we're single, I'm not going to go forward with it even if I do like the person. I'm entirely happy single. I'm doing great things for myself and it's a lot less stress. If I'm going to have a partner, I want to make sure I'm happier with them than I am when I'm alone, which is a pretty high bar to top (haven't had many relationships because of that, and I'm fine with it.)
On top of that, I'm kind of realizing I might be asexual? Which I'm pretty annoyed with, but I don't entirely mind it. Really need to have that talk with him next week.
Got my first vaccine today! We were called at late notice (literally told at 4am) and it took almost 3 hours to get through the whole process. All we have here in Vietnam is AstraZeneca, so unfortunately a lot of teachers couldn't take it due to allergies. I'm just happy I was able to. That's one less thing for me to stress over.... now to wait for the 2nd dose.
I'm so lightheaded, and I don't know why. I don't have any known medical conditions, but it hasn't gone away in 4 days. But 19 more days till I get my puppy!
