Yet another section of fence came down in tonight's wind storm. The longer property management waits, the worse the fence will get... and the more we think about moving... even the neighbor is getting pissed. Can't really afford to move, and the logistics of it in this particular situation are not great, but going deeper into the Mojave is looking more and more like an option.

Have an appointment to get my first covid shot on Wednesday morning...here's hoping I don't have a bad reaction to it. Am one of the old fogeys with emphysema so if I did catch covid I more than likely would not survive it. Only have about 27% lung capacity as it is so am on oxygen 24/7 now.

Oh definitely. Based on experience in the US, I was fully expecting that visit to cost me anywhere from 500-2000 especially when the doctor wanted the x-rays. It FLOORED me when the reception desk told me I was good to go. I asked the girl multiple times "Nothing? I don't pay anything?" because I just didn't believe it!
